Mjolnir is a large, square-headed gray war hammer. It has a round handle wrapped in simulated molded brown leather, culminating in a loop handle. It is the favored weapon of the superhero Thor. The object is based on Mjöllnir, the weapon of the mythical Norse god. The hammer's name translates as "The Crusher. On one side of the hammer, it is written:
Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.
